Founded in 1989, CSPP was the information technology industry`s leading advocacy organization comprised exclusively of CEOs. Craig Barrett, of Intel was chairman of the coalition, which worked to develop and advocate the IT industry`s public policy positions on technology and trade issues. Currently, CSPP has been renamed as the Tech CEO Council, focused on export control reform, digital rights management, international trade, privacy, and Networked World infrastructure, including spectrum allocation and broadband deployment.
